1. Have a printed outline of your essay. Follow the Persuasive Outline format. You should at least include your current opinion (thesis) and topics that you know will have to be included. Look at your Attacking the Prompt Worksheet for items to include in there.
2. On a piece of paper write down 4 important statements/ facts about the cultural capital analogy. Imagine that these facts would be the ones you'd choose for your multi-colored packet.

Make note cards for list 55. The words will be posted on the Root Vocab Tab above.

I will give extra credit points to anyone that approaches a junior and convinces them to read a book that you suggest to them. Part of their homework is to find a book to read after testing. They will be reading it everyday next week. If you suggest one and they bring it in tomorrow, I will give you extra credit points. If the junior you approach already has a book, then find one that does not have a book in mind.

Now that we have read sonnets from Petrarch and Shakespeare, what is your opinion of the sonnets? Do you love them, hate them, or are you in the middle? Explain why you feel this way.
Then, explain which sonnet you like you best and why you like it so much. Be very detailed.
You last paragraph should discuss whether you would recommend the sonnets to your friends, family, acquaintances. Whether it's a yes or no, explain what you would tell people about them.

2. Meet with your team "leaders" to discuss what we talked about in class today. You will have a quiz on it tomorrow to prove that you met up and got the information you needed. The leaders will be responsible for their members and the grades that they get. MAKE SURE TO DESCRIBE THE DETAILS SO THAT THEY FEEL LIKE THEY WERE IN CLASS AND THEY CAN PASS THE QUIZ.
There are NO EXCUSES as to why you could not meet. Points may be docked if you are unable to complete the task.
